Nik Doda is your dedicated and friendly Superhost in Italy. He has been in the hospitality business most of his life, in Italy and in California. He is the legendary owner of Casanova Ristorante & Lounge in Dana Point, California and has been featured in many food & wine magazines. At just 26 years he was the youngest owner of a major restaurant in Orange County, California! Growing up surrounded by olive trees and vineyards he has a vast knowledge of food and wine. He started his career in the restaurant business in Venice, Italy a city he loves and knows well. After being a successful entrepreneur in California he decided to “retire” in Florence, Italy at age 39 with his wife Mandy and their beloved cat Tuffy !

All of the heritage apartments in Nik Doda's portfolio have been painstakingly restored by him with attention to every authentic detail along with the very latest in modern conveniences. He personally greets every guest in Florence and he will be happy to give you many tips and restaurant recommendations so that you have an authentic experience, just like a local!
